Sound Therapy with Dr. Gabriele Wolf
Sound Therapy is a deeply relaxing and harmonising experience, Dr. Wolf recommends sound therapy sessions for many types of physical ailments and emotional or psychological issues.
A session lasts around 30 or 60 minutes, of which 20 – 50 minutes is pure sound. Sound healing instruments are used, some of which are applied to the physical body, others played around the body in the subtle energy fields and energy centers (chakras).
Sound healing therapy helps to restore harmony and balance to the body’s biological rhythms and processes, re-establishing correct functioning and thus releasing powerful healing hormones such as endorphins and serotonins and other natural chemicals such as nitric Oxide into the body. These natural chemicals are vital for the body’s health and vitality.
Dr. Wolf utilizes tibetan singing bowl and tuning fork frequencies alone or together during your sound therapy session.

Tibetan Singing Bowl Sound Therapy
The origin of the singing bowls in Tibet and Northern India for the most part still remains a mystery. Their original function has not been wholly determined. Literature discusses their use as a resonance body or sacrificial bowl in ritual applications but also their use as crockery.
Singing Bowl Sound Sessions are based on ancient knowledge concerning the effect of sounds that was applied in Indian healing therapy as long as more than 5000 years ago. According to Eastern ideas man was created out of sound, i.e. he is sound. If a human being is "in tune" with himself and his environment, then he or she is able to arrange his/her life freely and creatively.
During your sound therapy session with Dr. Wolf, bowls are played on and around the body to create harmonious sounds and a sense of well-being. The bowls lull you softly into a meditative state where restoration and balancing of optimal wellness on all levels can occur. Dr. Wolf may also incorporate tuning forks into your session based on your individual needs.

Tuning Fork Sound Therapy
Dr. Wolf utilizes tuning fork frequencies alone or in conjunction with other sound instruments such as singing bowls during your sound therapy session.
Tuning forks create a bridge between sound and form. They are physical in nature, yet vibrate strongly enough to transmit that vibration. They also vibrate, as does the human body, according to specific harmonic proportions which reflect the geometry of their structure.
The phenomenon of sympathetic resonance is reinforced by their use on or around the body. From atom to molecule, to cells and DNA, the body is constructed from geometric forms that fit together to compose the whole. The tuning fork, by matching these Natural Ratios, “entrains” the body’s vibration and return it to its “optimum”, healthy vibration.
Tuning forks emit pure sounds that are represented as pure sine waves, without any harmonics.
Because tuning forks eliminate their own overtones within a few seconds of striking, the pure resulting sound waves are rapidly transmitted throughout the nervous system and entire body with just a few applications.
An activated tuning fork can be placed on the bones and articulations to restore movement and flexibility, and aid the development of connective tissue. They stimulate the flow of lymph and blood to the area of application thereby speeding up the healing process, and promote deep relaxation and the elimination of built up stress and toxins from the joints.
The tuning forks effectively bring each meridian and its corresponding organ(s) back into harmony.
Tuning forks can also have a powerful regulatory effect on the entire nervous system, creating deep relaxation or stimulation, depending on which forks are used.
